Description
Custom Business System
Your business is not off-the-shelf. Your software does not have to be either.
Custom Business System is a dedicated 180-day WNYPress web-development engagement. We learn how your business operates, design the system around those workflows, build it, test it with you, deploy it, and continuously refine it throughout the engagement.
One system. One engagement. One price.
The engagement is a fixed $40,000. Relevant WNYPress web-development and implementation services incorporated into the agreed Custom Business System are included. We do not turn every qualifying revision, integration, configuration change, or implementation step into another WNYPress invoice.
Third-party products and costs—including hosting, domains, APIs, SaaS subscriptions, licenses, transaction fees, hardware, stock assets, and extended travel—remain the Client’s responsibility.
Unlimited in-scope revisions
There is no predetermined numerical limit on qualifying revisions during the 180-day engagement. WNYPress continuously manages priorities and project expectations using Workshop. The engagement is not an hourly labor bank and does not guarantee completion of every new idea proposed during the term.
Your six-month build
- Weeks 1–4: Discovery, interviews, observation of operations, and workflow documentation in Workshop.
- Weeks 5–8: Architecture, data model, UX/workflows, prototypes, and integration planning.
- Weeks 9–16: Primary development and continuous client review.
- Weeks 17–20: Integrations, automation, data migration, and edge cases.
- Weeks 21–24: Real-world testing, revisions, training, and deployment.
- Weeks 25–26: Stabilization, handoff, and transition planning for TotalCare.
The schedule is a planning framework rather than a rigid waterfall. Work may overlap phases as the system evolves.
Remote, hybrid, or on-site
WNYPress can work remotely, alongside your team on-site, or in a hybrid arrangement when useful to the build. Ordinary local on-site work is intended for businesses within approximately one hour of ZIP Code 14304. Approved travel and lodging outside the local service area are subsidized by the Client.
Workshop-managed development
Workshop becomes the living operational record for discovery, requirements, decisions, labor estimates, priorities, progress, and project guidance. Labor estimates are planning tools—not billable-hour commitments.
After the engagement
At the end of the 180-day engagement, remaining desired work can be reprioritized into applicable WNYPress Services or a new Custom Business System engagement. WNYPress TotalCare is strongly recommended for ongoing maintenance, support, and eligible changes after launch.
